Troubadour folk with a beat, blending grounded old- soul nostalgia with the restless pull of the open road

 
Warm, nostalgic songs with a restless, road-trip kind of energy.
 
After some time away, the project returns as a family band, bringing together a fresh sound, a new identity, and a release tour to mark the start of this new chapter.
Throughout spring, summer and autumn 2026 Wayward Fool will release four new singles, each one offering a glimpse into where the music is headed.
Built on stories gathered from years of travelling and performing across continents, shaped by a background in jazz, carried by steady rhythms, rich cello arrangements and close family chemistry, Wayward Fool blends folk storytelling with groove, warmth and a sense of adventure.
 
Now, the band is ready to bring their sound to stages across the Netherlands (and beyond).
